Location: Region 5 ESC - Edison Plaza, 350 Pine Street, Beaumont, TX
Salary Range: Contingent upon experience
Length of Work: 12 months/232 days

Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or GED; advanced training helpful;

Special Knowledge/Skills:    
•    Advanced technology skills; Proficient with computers and software; ability to operate various types of equipment and use online applications; proficient with PowerPoint, spreadsheets;
•    Prior knowledge/ experience entering data into Management Information Systems preferred;
•    Possess characteristics of reliability, dependability, and enthusiasm;
•    Possess pleasant personality to interact with and assist individuals from all backgrounds;
•    Ability to develop neat, accurate, written documents of all types;
•    Ability to be flexible, dependable, and a self-starter;
•    Ability to communicate effectively; excellent oral and written communication skills;
•    Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment;
•    Handle critical deadlines and demonstrate initiative in difficult situations;
•    Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills;
•    Ability to maintain multiple tasks and work cooperatively with others;
•    Ability to maintain calm attitude in demanding situation;
•    Ability to make changes and adapt to varying responsibilities on an ongoing basis;
•    Ability to work with frequent interruptions and tight deadlines  

Duties and Responsibilities:
•    Knowledge of assigned program(s) and grant(s)
•    Provide courteous and professional interaction with staff, students and community partners;
•    Gain program knowledge to questions from potential students; field phone calls and in-person
•    Answer calls and provide information to potential students about the Adult Education program;
•    Process incoming/ outgoing data and communications in person, electronically;
•    Collect, organize, and enter student data information into one or more Management Information Systems daily; analyze this data to contribute to student and program success and performance;
•    Maintain student/customer confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential;
•    Assist with procurement of supplies and equipment for the instructional program; track inventory;
•    Other duties as assigned by the Project Director
