DESCRIPTION:
The role of an assistant principal is to assume responsibility for the leadership, management, coordination, and administration of the programs of the elementary campus within the framework of the philosophy and objectives established by Board policy, consistent with statutes and standards of regulatory agencies, and in accordance with administrative regulations and procedures.   

QUALIFICATIONS:

·         Master’s degree from an accredited  institution
·         Texas Principal or appropriate Professional Administrator’s certificate ·         Certified T-TESS Appraiser (preferred)
·         Holds a valid teaching certificate
·         At least 3 years creditable teaching experience (preferred)
·         Campus administration or leadership experience (preferred)

SALARY:
$49,203.00 - $70,812.00 Based on experience 198  Service Days
